That Computer Guy, for the most part, charges by the solution and not by the hour. The rates for desktop support range from $89 up to $199. The price quoted is the price you pay whether it takes an hour or takes 4 hours.

System Cleanup/Tuneup - $89
From cleaning up temp files to ensuring optimal settings to ensuring you have the latest updates and patches, everything to get your system running smoothly. |
Internet/Email Issues - $89
Troubleshoot and repair any internet and/or email related issues. |
Ram Install/Test - $89
Includes installing new ram in your system and running a software test to ensure there are no problems. |
Software Install/Setup - $89
Installing any type of software not including operating systems. Includes configuration and ensuring any updates are installed. |
Printer Setup - $89
From physically setting up your new printer to installing necessary drivers and software. Includes tutorial on features of your new printer. |
Peripheral Install/Setup - $99
This service includes install and setup of periperal devices such as but not limited to video cards, sound cards, networking cards etc... |
Wireless Router Setup - $99
This service includes setting up your new wireless router and configuring for secure internet access. Includes wireless configuration of up to 5 computers. |
Hardware Troubleshooting - $129
Troubleshoot and repair/replace hardware in your computer as required. |
New Computer Setup - $133
From physically setting up your new system to installing necessary software and updates to transfering data from old system including documents, music, pictures, favourites and email; everything you need to hit the ground running. |
Virus/Spyware Cleanup - $139
Includes a thorough scan and cleanup of all virus and spyware detected on your system. |
Wipe & Reload - $199
This service includes backing up your data, wiping the hard drive and reloading Windows along with necessary software. Your data is then restored back to it's original locations. Additional software packages can be loaded for an extra $39 |
